SOCIETY OF SAINT JOHN FISHER All lay members of the Society shall attend an annual retreat sponsored by the Society unless prevented by serious cause of which they shall notify the Society Director. However, under special circumstances and with the approval of the Director in each individual case, participation in another retreat may fulfill this requirement. All lay members of the Society shall pray daily for the intentions of the Society and for the other members of the Society, both lay and clerical, from a roster which the director shall issue from time to time. All lay members of the Society shall say at least one of the hours of the Daily Office or the Liturgy of the Hours or the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and afterwards shall pray the Memorial of the Society. All lay members of the Society shall unite their prayers for each other and for the intentions of the Society with the offering of at least one Mass each week and on June 22, the feast of Saint John Fisher. All lay members of the Society shall make at least an annual contribution for the work of the Society. |
